I set a goal today. I have decided that I am going to make myself take a picture of some aspect of our life every day for the month of March. I am then going to post and blog the story of said pic. This goal sneakily ties together three separate goals that I have been shamlessly putting off for months (ok, one might be over a year old!)
1. To take more pics. I hate to admit it but it happened. My poor second born is suffering the plight of many many second borns that have come before her. Somehow, the camera that we couldn't put down when her sister was an only child, continues to find itself in hiding as precious moments of her toddlerhood pass us by. Therefore, I, Kristen, vow to try my very very best to take at least one picture every day for the next month.
2. To start a blog. I thought this blog thing would be a great way to track our family's goings ons and a great way to keep all of those out of town relatives up to date. I actually created the blog months ago, but never posted anything. Admittedly, I was a little gunshy. I didn't want it to stink. I'm letting that go now. I'm just gonna do it. So, if this is boring you to tears, well, sorry.
3. To learn how to better use my new computer that my sweet hubby bought me, um, two Christmases ago. He did such a good job. He surprised the heck outta me by buying me this computer for Christmas two years ago. I had been whining for one for a while. I wanted a place to store all my pics. (You know, all the ones I was taking back then!) Now, you must understand that this was a big request for me. I hate computers. And personally, I don't think they're all that fond of me either. It's mutual, so it's ok. I think I might be the only kid of my generation that missed the "I love computers day" at school. Actually, make that any kind of technology. My three year old knew how to work the Wii before I did. Seriously, I make my husband do it all for me. Load my iPod, dowload pics...until now! So, for my second vow of the day...I, Kristen, vow to learn how to download my own pics to my computer and post them on this blog.
